Al-Qaeda’s Leader Reminds Needless Nancy He’s In Iraq.
Our beloved Speakerette of the House, Nancy Pelosi, told us recently she was sad that “President Bush continues to blame Iraqi insurgent violence on al Qaeda.”
Now the Deputy Leader of Al-Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri, is sad that the U.S. isn’t “negotiating with the real powers in Iraq”.
Interesting. I thought the real powers comprised of the Democratic party and the United Nations. You’d think with everything Kofi Kup Annan has done for Al-Qaeda, Al-Zawahiri wouldn’t steal his retirement limelight!

I continue to be astonished at the inane insistence by senior Democrats that al Qaeda has anything to do with Iraq, while every pronouncement from al Qaeda declares plainly their objectives in Iraq and our opponents there are actually named “Al Qaeda In Iraq”! As was true in the Cold War, our domestic opponents are a combination of the self-deluded, the self-serving who merely say whatever is necessary to score the next propaganda point, and the actual fifth columnists (who don’t support al Qaeda per se, but oppose America always). The mind boggles, and the stakes are our very survival.
